We are GATHERING online on
Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10am-12 noon  (Pacific) | 11am (Mountain)

We’ll explore Philippians 4:7  as we discuss “What is God's Peace?” in a Bible study led by Shirley Kinoshita. This online event is free and open to ALL women in the West, whether you were registered for the retreat or not.

Shirley Kinoshita likes to share her love of Asian arts and crafts, and combines her religious faith and her art to support causes. A lifelong student of the Bible, who has led email-based Bible studies online during the early days of internet (1980s), called Biblestudy-L and wrote a Daily Devotional for 2 years as a companion to the English language study. Because the audience was virtual, the students came from many nations.

As a visual artist based in the San Francisco Bay area focusing on Sumi-e (Asian Ink Painting) and watercolors, she has taught many creative subjects to all ages, from preschoolers to seniors. Shirley has a passion to advocate for peace. She has been married since 1965 to Kim Kinoshita, has 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

Shirley is grateful to all the Bible study/Christian education teacher/leaders who has nurtured her spiritual journey. It is through the Holy Scriptures, and fellow believers that we can learn & discerns God through Jesus Christ, we worship and follow.
